It will enlighten physicians, coders and managers as to the auditing process and enable physicians to assess their own documentation strengths and weaknesses. Offers OB/Gyn-specific education in CPT, ICD-9, E&M, HCPCS II and provides coding exercises for Modifiers, Evaluation and Management, Diagnoses, Surgical Coding.

Essentials for Improving Your Accounts Receivable Management
This course describes how each staff member contributes as part of the team to capture and collect all revenue and provides benchmarks and tools to be used for tracking statistics and "getting a fix" on your practice. Attendees will learn how to identify problems, their sources and how to correct them in order to improve the "Bottom Line."
Workflow provides detailed job descriptions for the Accounts Receivable Manager and the Front Desk Staff. Learn how to avoid the “domino effect” which halts collections mid-stream and eliminate confusion and duplication of efforts for a more efficient practice.

The Link Between Successful Collections And Excellent Customer Service
Successful collections start with excellent customer service. The attendee will participate in exercises and a self-assessment designed to help them determine their strengths and weaknesses and identify areas for improvement in order to provide top-notch customer service in the medical practice. Characteristics for success are reviewed in detail. Course also includes collection techniques, how to handle the hostile patient, tips for reducing stress and tips to become more patient friendly.
